Wipro Named a Leader in Everest Group’s Payments IT Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2023

Wipro’s investments in payment tools and training, alongside its strong industry expertise, contributed to the company’s Leader position.

The demand for digital and seamless payments has accelerated rapidly alongside evolving market dynamics and customer expectations. Everest Group evaluated 30 leading payments IT services providers for their Payments IT Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2023, naming Wipro a Leader in its annual evaluation.

“Wipro has strengthened its value-proposition in the payments space by building the right IP and setting up partnerships to address key priorities,” said Aaditya Jain, Vice President, Everest Group. “Investments in resource development programs and footprint expansion, playing the role of transformation partner for clients, and brining in functional area expertise have helped Wipro earn a Leader recognition on Everest Group’s Payments IT Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2023.”

In its 2023 assessment of Payments IT Services providers, Everest Group said Wipro demonstrated the following strengths:

  • Market success proof points around complex cards and payments modernization and transformation engagements.
  • Augmenting its engineering and delivery capabilities with Capco’s consulting capabilities and client intimacy.
  • Investments to increase its presence in Norway to provide local support to clients based out of the region.
  • Client appreciation of the functional-area expertise and program-management capabilities that Wipro brings into the engagement.
  • Clients viewing Wipro as a transformation partner who supports them on various strategic initiatives such as partner evaluation and strategic roadmap design.
  • Investments in developmental initiatives such as a payments academy covering domain training, network plugins, and product trainings.
