Client: European beer brewing company
Geography: Sao Paulo, New York City, London, Mexico
Revenue: 56.44 billion USD for FY ‘17
The client wanted to achieve cost efficiencies in its widespread network operations through service improvements. In addition, the company was looking to align its entire network to evolving technological changes with the aim of improving its global reach and reducing time to provision.
Wipro tackled the overall operations and business challenges for the client by setting up an integrated team to manage their data and voice services. We implemented SIP Aggregation services across more than 70 locations to increase modularity, density and flexibility of routers. Our team of experts then completed the migration of WAN services for 138 locations from IPSec data network to MPLS network - integrating voice, video and data across a common platform for superior quality of service, performance and availability.
Leveraging its global infrastructure and strong network managed services capabilities, Wipro enabled the following tangible outcomes for the brewery:
- Enhanced global reach with a single point of contact for voice and data support
- Right sized bandwidth and optimized costs
- Enabled 15-20% increase in productivity through Six Sigma and Lean
- Provided expert support for run-state project roll-outs
“Resource optimisation and enhanced productivity were the key expected outcomes of this managed network services transition project. By introducing Six Sigma and Lean, we are able to increase the productivity by 15-20%”
