CADIQ identifies Model-Based Design (MBD) data quality issues that affect downstream re-use for manufacturing, simulation, data exchange, and collaboration. There are three types of checks done
namely derivative validation for identifying unacceptable differences between native and derivative models, revision comparison for identifying unintentional or undocumented changes between revisions of a model, quality checking for identifying significant defects in a native model that impact downstream re-use.
CADIQ compares geometry, design features, and product manufacturing information (PMI) between related models to identify significant differences. We help customers develop processes to identify, manage, and correct problems stemming from design quality and data interoperability issues. The resolution of these challenges is critical to improve downstream product data re-use.
