The client wanted an e-commerce platform that could support a responsive and agile distribution network and sell directly to their B2B/B2C customers. The platform also needed to support customer and product-specific pricing, discounts and rebates, guaranteed shipping dates, and self-service registrations for new customers. They were looking for a partner to help them put the platform in place and decided to get Wipro onboard.
Wipro designed and developed an SAP Hybris-based e-commerce solution and integrated it with SAP Order Management (SCM) and SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. This integration helps with marketing, loyalty management, customer interaction, sales processing, and rebates. We also created an e-catalog system that permitted customers to search using product fitment features. This system allowed for a Global Available to Promise (GATP)-based inventory check across the distribution centers, helping inventory optimization and driving profitability. We also migrated the platform to Adobe for website management across client brand sites.
To make it easier for the client’s end-customers, we also built an eLearning solution using SAP SuccessFactors that supports consumers with online registration and technology training for products.
