Trust and Safety (T&S) services are more crucial than ever for providing a safe internet environment for all users. Our 27,000+ professionals serve as digital guardians, dedicated to upholding the integrity of online platforms and creating trustworthy spaces across the internet. While content moderation is essential, it comes with unique challenges. It is paramount that we place equal emphasis on the mental well-being of our moderators, who play a vital role in protecting users online.
At Wipro, we have established a dedicated wellbeing and resilience (WeRe) program, comprising a global network of trauma-informed wellbeing coaches and behavioral science experts. Our WeRe program is grounded in proactive approaches and supported by data-driven insights. We equip content moderators with the tools and resources they need to foster resilience, boost productivity and improve engagement. In addition, our research and innovation lab has engineered cutting-edge AI-infused proprietary tools such as AIRA, an AI-powered chatbot for Trust & Safety and the Reaction to Content (RTC-10) Scale, designed to identify psychological strain early on and provide timely interventions and manage its effect on content moderators.
We are committed to nurturing a global network of practitioners in the wellness space by sharing best practices, building tools and expertise to be productive while prioritizing positive mental wellbeing. As part of this commitment, we are proud signatories of the Inspired Internet Pledge by the Digital Wellness Lab at Harvard Medical School and active contributors to the Trust & Safety Teaching Consortium via the Stanford Internet Observatory.
With our award-winning programs in wellness and resilience, our focus remains on cultivating tools, expertise and a workforce that places the health and wellbeing of our teams at the forefront.
