Wipro’s Smart Operations (SmartOps) solution allows enterprises to transition to predictive operations and cognitive end-user enablement by using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) ops, our Digital Command Center, an AI-based intelligent automation platform, and AI-based persona-based bots called Digital Colleagues. SmartOps is designed to handle 60 to 70% of operations and enables businesses to shift to a full-stack model.

The components of Wipro’s SmartOps solution

  • The Wipro Digital Command Center (DCC): Our DCC team drives full-stack observability through integrated tool-based monitoring of business processes, applications, and services; event correlation; and auto-remediation of SOP-based activities. The DCC provides real-time operational insights into business process KPIs, application performance, and user experience, enhancing business value.
  • Automation pods and Digital Colleagues: Automation pods are teams that drive “eliminate first and automate next” principles through continuous and intelligent automation, smart diagnostics, and self-healing solutions. Our unique Digital Colleagues enable enterprises to shift to AI-assisted operations using persona-based cognitive automation technologies and human-machine collaborations.
  • SRE Ops: Wipro’s site reliability engineers address the balance between reliability and velocity, focusing on accelerating critical-incident responses, building end-to-end service resiliency, increasing the ability to predict and prevent incidents, and reducing Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR). SREs drive standardization and automation efforts across operations and engineering, ensuring that Service-Level Objectives (SLO), Service-Level Indicators (SLI), and error budgets are met.
