WoW Mom is a program that aims to support, enable, and engage with women employees proceeding for and returning from Maternity Leave. It includes customized initiatives & local policies to support our employees, HR connects with mothers returning from Maternity Leave, a ‘WoW Mom’ handbook, information on day care facilities, and more.

Our global LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group brings together LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies to increase engagement and visibility on community initiatives.

Beyond Pride month, our Employee Resource Group (ERG) has increased engagement and helped raise awareness with various topics and initiatives, including International Pronouns Day, International Coming Out Day, LGBTQ+ History Month, Transgender Awareness Week, Transgender Day of Visibility, and International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. Our ERG has also been leading the conversation on pronouns (recommended in our global email signature template). Our new intranet platform now also lets users showcase their pronouns in their profile. Through our ongoing focus, we help create a more inclusive workplace for all.

The DAN aims to bring disabled voices to the forefront, create a safe space and strengthen overall inclusion ecosystem.

We recognize a concerted effort is required in order to create a disability-inclusive ecosystem, and we embrace the challenge. To accelerate the work in this space, we have announced a U.S. specific employee resource group called DAN, which stands for Disability Alliance Network. Wipro is cognizant that 1 in every 4 people lives with some sort of disability in the U.S., which could be anything from visual or locomotor disabilities to so-called “invisible disabilities”, including cognitive and psychosocial disabilities. Through DAN, we aim to bring disabled voices to the forefront, create a safe space, and strengthen the organization’s overall ecosystem to foster inclusion.

This supportive parenting community aims to empower, enable, and recognize the special role that both mothers and fathers play in our world and our company. It brings together parents across the organization to network, encourage, and enable each other as they balance work and family life. Sessions are organized for parents on topics like parenting for children with developmental delay, conscious parenting, and many more. This hub has created a network of parents who help each other navigate through their unique parenting journeys.
