An American information technology company that provides intelligent numbering solutions to the telecom industry was seeing a tremendous opportunity for growth. The company determined that its IT landscape needed an update to accommodate a growing client base. They needed a cloud-based system that could support digital business transactions across geographies and streamlined workflows for finance, accounting and account receivables (AR). Improving these key business functions and adding end-to-end visibility would provide the agility needed to support growth.
The objective was to implement a robust cloud-based system in a short timeframe. The company engaged Wipro to redefine finance, accounting and AR processes and configure new complex workflows. To accelerate the implementation, they leveraged Wipro’s FastTrack NetSuite Implementation methodology. The team created and implemented a global design on Oracle NetSuite’s Cloud ERP and CRM platform.
Further, the team implemented SuiteBilling, a new module from Oracle NetSuite, to enable a subscription billing process.And a custom solution was added using the SuiteCloud platform to establish a platform for end-customers to buy common language equipment identification (CLEI) codes online. With new workflows and net-new solutions going live, the team engaged Wipro’s organizational change management consultants to drive user adoption.
The implementation was completed in just four months across multiple geographies. The new solution established a unified global system of records for finance and accounting and reduced the time required for financial reconciliations and reporting by 80%. The AR process was streamlined by integrating the customer portal and payments systems, which reduced the time required to process customer payments by 65%. The custom-built solutions for subscription billing and CLEI codes improved the customer experience and allowed the company to capture new digital revenue opportunities.
