May 22, 2015 : State-of-the-Art Jaipur Office Expands Footprint to Become Largest Tech Employer in the Region
Jaipur, India ? May 22, 2015 ? As part of its global growth strategy, Appirio has announced the expansion of its Jaipur, India office. The office will take over an additional floor, bringing the overall planned capacity to more than 500 people and making Appirio Jaipur the largest tech employer in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Appirio Jaipur grew one hundred percent, year-over-year in 2014, and created job opportunities for more than 300 IT professionals. Appirio is also arming this next generation workforce with the skills needed to architect solutions using emerging crowdsourcing platforms. Appirio's expanded Jaipur team will deliver business and technology solutions as well as operations support to the company's global customers to help them innovate and win in the new cloud economy.
"When the Jaipur Global Delivery Center opened in 2014, we aimed to make it Appirio's largest global office outside of the U.S.," said Manpreet Singh, general manager of Appirio India. "This expansion milestone realizes that goal."
With this expansion Appirio plans to continue recruiting talent at all levels. In Jaipur, the company invests heavily in the "Jaipur Academy," an initiative that delivers a world class and comprehensive training curriculum to train employees, helping to drive the office's retention rate to well over 90 percent.

The state-of-the-art facility is located in Mahindra World City?the largest IT special economic zone (SEZ) in India. The facility was built with the employee experience in mind, equipped with a 24-hour cafeteria, a recreational area with video and table games, and a gymnasium stocked with modern amenities and equipment supporting Appirio's CloudFit program. Transportation arrangements have also been put in place to make travel to and from work more seamless for employees.
Apart from the world class training and facility, Appiro Jaipur also gives its employees a chance to give back to the community. As part of the corporate philanthropy program, Silver Lining, Appirio employees have organized blood donation camps, worked with special needs children and even donated hours in primary schools. In 2014, the Future of the Cloud initiative, a global Appirio volunteerism event, saw more than 600 employees worldwide participate in 54 team events across five countries for a total of 3,000 hours.
