Transformed robotic automation solutions using end-to-end software based process orchestration
Today, most of the robotic automation is predominantly dependent on PLC based control systems. This affects productivity as it involves frequent human intervention in terms of job selection, line feeding, setup change, and dependency on skilled PLC programmers for longer times. Wipro understands that these challenges can be addressed by enhancing the traditional PLC-based orchestration using a software-based robotics platform. We have developed a software based process orchestration engine that integrates, triggers, manages, tracks, and monitors various turnkey process elements including robot controller, PLC, vision system, code repositories, analytics engine, AI based rule engine, and ERP. We enable integrated control of the entire hardware to orchestrate the sequence of operations. By virtue of our tele-operations module, we have capabilities to remotely commission robots and enable our customers to remotely manage end-to-end operations. This is feasible as we see more and more companies changing their policies towards restricting people on site for any deployment or maintenance. Our integrated control enables us to help customers with setup change automation and integration with management systems such as WMS, MES, and ERP among others.
