Patients are increasingly leaving a digital trail of their health data across providers, payers, labs, care managers, and IoT devices. But the presence of this fragmented, siloed, incompatible, and inaccessible data has limited the ability for patients to get a bird’s eye view of their health records. In view of this, the CMS and ONC Interoperability law has established policies that break down barriers in the nation’s health system to enable better patient access to their health data.

Wipro has devised a 5-step solution which will help health care organizations (HCOs) be compliant within the CMS timeline of July 1, 2021. Our turnkey platform seamlessly integrates with the enterprise applications. With the help of our Consulting and Integration services, the financial/clinical data from your applications will be converted into industry standard Fast Healthcare Interoperable Resource (FHIR) formats. This data will be exposed to the external systems/applications through APIs built on a layer of industry standard consent management.

Our solution is built by the team which created Blue Button 2.0 for CMS to help the agency provide beneficiaries with their health data. The platform is built in partnership with Microsoft to provide HCOs with FHIR-based interoperability and is aligned with Da Vinci, CARIN, Gravity, and other FHIR accelerators for the future.
