Every 15 seconds, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Globally, it is the most frequently occurring cancer among women and especially those over the age of 50. But, women of all ages can be affected, as can men, too.

Thankfully, the disease is highly treatable if caught early on, so early detection and treatment are essential. However, in the last 18 months, the Covid-19 pandemic has severely impacted the number of women attending screenings, which has resulted in delays in diagnoses and ultimately, life-saving treatment.

On October 14, Wipro is joining forces with The Estée Lauder Companies for the annual Tech Day of Pink, to raise awareness about breast cancer. Wipro is bringing together senior technology executives, an influential breast cancer survivor, an eminent figure in breast cancer oncology to discuss how the awareness we raise can be of true benefit to breast cancer patients and survivors.
