Wipro’s study on Intelligent Enterprise reveals 83% Of Enterprises are already intelligent or are working aggressively towards being one. Are you lagging behind?
While COVID-19 is forcing businesses to take a re-look at their strategy, customer experience and seamless processes still remain the priority of organizations across the globe in their endeavour to transform into an Intelligent Enterprise. The question is – Is this the only motive behind organizations trying to become an intelligent organization? What are the other strategies that organizations are adopting to manage the current disruption and emerge stronger?
Wipro conducted a survey among 300 IT and business decision makers in the US and UK to understand the maturity level of these organizations in terms of their current state of Intelligent Enterprise and their adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across business functions. The study revealed that while 80% of organizations say it will be important for them to be an Intelligent Enterprise, only 17% consider themselves an Intelligent Enterprise.
Other key findings of the report include:
- Nearly 88% organizations face challenges whether they are already intelligent or working toward that goal
- 95% of business leaders surveyed see AI as critical to Intelligent Enterprises, yet only 17% of respondents are using AI across the entire organization
- While 74% of organizations think that Investment in technology is the most likely enabler becoming an intelligent enterprise, 42% of them, considers re-skilling workforce as one of the enablers
- 91% of the respondents feel that there are data barriers to becoming an intelligent enterprise, with Data security being the most important barrier
