Exploring the AI Landscape: Insights from AI Journal on AI, Ethics and Society

Tom Allen, Founder of AI Journal, joined the first episode of Wipro’s CDAO Council podcast in December 2024 to discuss the rapid evolution of AI based on insights from his journey with the journal. He highlighted the shift in 2022 from ‘ideas’ to ‘use cases’ to ‘implementation’, marking 2024 as a pivotal year for AI adoption. He stressed the importance of ethics in AI and highlighted the need for discussion around ‘second’ opinion of competing large language models for automated decision-making using AI. He also envisioned a future where AI is seamlessly integrated into daily life via wearables.
