Telecom companies often face the complexity of maintaining and monitoring many passive assets spread across various location managing equipment like towers, antennas, and other infrastructure components. The challenge involves ensuring that these assets are functioning optimally, detecting anomalies or potential issues in a timely manner, and conducting preventive maintenance.
Wipro, in collaboration with Snowflake, has developed digital twin solution for passive equipment, harnessing the full potential of Snowflake's Data Cloud to revolutionize the image post-processing pipeline. This innovative pipeline leverages advanced photogrammetry and image processing algorithms, enhanced by Snowflake's scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform, to detect service disruptions such as alignment issues and line-of-sight obstructions. By integrating Snowflake's elastic data storage and real-time processing capabilities, Wipro’s ingenious solution enables efficient geo-location-based image portioning, dramatically accelerating the collection, analysis, and visualization of accurate data across extensive geographical areas.
The solution processes high-resolution images to determine current asset positions and identify deviations from expected conditions, applying AI-driven tolerance thresholds to predict anomalies and enable proactive preventive maintenance. At its core, the solution features an application layer dashboard powered by Snowflake's advanced data insights and Wipro's domain expertise, providing asset owners with a comprehensive, 360-degree view of critical anomaly hotspots. This dashboard is further enriched with AIOps data, enabling end-to-end asset health monitoring, predictive analytics, and actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and decision-making. The integration of Snowflake's Data Cloud allows for seamless data sharing across ecosystems, enabling real-time collaboration with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
