Appoints Herv�© Sortais as Country Head of France
Paris, France and Bangalore, India - November 19, 2014:
Wipro Ltd. (NYSE:WIT), a leading information technology, consulting and business process services company today announced the appointment of Hervé Sortais, General Manager and Country Head for France, part of the Continental Europe market.
In his new role, Hervé will focus on strengthening Wipro's position in France by pursuing new business opportunities. He will also be responsible for growing Wipro's brand visibility in the region and helping customers implement innovative solutions that will transform the way they do business
Hervé will be based in Paris and will report to Ulrich Meister, Senior Vice President, Continental Europe and Africa.

Prior to Joining Wipro, Hervé was Vice President at Lawson Software, an ERP vendor and US public company where he held several executive positions across Europe, bringing in his expertise in professional services and development of new market solutions.
Prior to that, Hervé worked for 11 years with Atos, where he was first leading Open Systems and Middleware Solutions practice, before scaling up the ERP Business Unit on the Manufacturing market. Then, in 1999, he joined Gedas Gmbh (the IT Services Company of Volkswagen AG serving the automotive and manufacturing industry) and led the transformation and outsourcing of Volkswagen IT, developing Gedas in France and becoming president of the company in 2005.
Wipro has made strategic investments in France over the last five years. The company has significantly built its local presence across the country by hiring local workforce and establishing offices in key locations. Wipro currently has offices in Paris and Rennes and is confident of further expansion within the country.
