Sydney, Australia and Bangalore, India - September 11, 2012:

Wipro Technologies, the Global Information Technology, Consulting and Outsourcing business of Wipro Ltd (NYSE: WIT) announced its association with the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2012(BSRF) for the second consecutive year, as the IT Partner. This iconic running event will be hosted on Sunday, September 16, 2012 and will attract over 35,000 participants from across Australia, including Blackmores Sydney Running Ambassador and cricket great Glenn McGrath, who will be participating in the Blackmores Half Marathon.

Sports have always had the power to bring communities together to support a common cause. The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival has raised $9.6 million since its inception and this year the Reach Foundation, a national organization, has joined hands with Wipro to make a positive impact in the lives of young Australians.

Suchira Iyer, CMO, IT Business, Wipro Ltd. said "Wipro is proud to be the IT partner of one of the most spectacular running festivals in the world. A marathon is a celebration of the human spirit, the coming together of communities and the toughest show of individual endurance and tenacity. So we wish all the participants good luck and although there will be winners in the end, we hope that everyone will have accomplished a new milestone."

Wayne Larden, Blackmores Sydney Running Festival Race Director said, "We are pleased to welcome Wipro for their continued support as our IT sponsor for this iconic event. Wipro recognizes the incredible opportunity in harnessing the power of sports as it is a great platform to engage their customers and employees, in a more direct way. We look forward to their technological support and expertise that will elevate the race day experience for all the participants. With the Wipro expertise, we are sure to be able to reach our goals that we have set out for ourselves."

'The Wipro Team Challenge' returns this year to the festival, with an aim to promote participation in the race and encourage team spirit and camaraderie. Teams of 3 or more can take part in the race and the winners of this event will be the proud recipient of the 'Wipro Team Challenge' trophy.

At the onset of 'The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival' Wipro will also launch a Facebook app that will run Wipro's first online marathon contest. The contest will be open to all starting September 12, 2012 and will close on the September 20 2012. So if one can't participate in person, here is a chance to be there via the app.

Runners of the marathon will find their way across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Royal Botanic Gardens, The Rocks, Centennial Parklands and CBD en-route to the world famous finish line at the Sydney Opera House in one of four fantastic events. The proceedings of the Blackmores Sydney half marathon will kick off at 6.30a.m., followed by the Blackmores Sydney wheel chair marathon at 7.25 a.m., and then the Blackmores Sydney full marathon at 7.30am. The Sunday Telegraph family fun run will take place at 7.55a.m., concluding with The Sunday Telegraph body +soul bridge run at 9.00am.

The highlights of the Blackmores Sydney Festival are as below:
