Wipro Technologies, the Global Information Technology, Consulting and Outsourcing business of Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT) today announced the appointment of Suchira Iyer as its Chief Marketing Officer, IT Business.
Suchira will report to TK Kurien, CEO, IT Business and Executive Director, Wipro Ltd. Rajan Kohli, after a two-year stint as the chief marketing officer, has been appointed as the vertical head for the banking business.
Commenting on her appointment TK Kurien, CEO, IT Business and Executive Director said, "Suchira has a strong understanding of our clients, services and markets. Her deep industry and market knowledge will add tremendous value to the overall marketing strategy, led by a transformation agenda for our clients."
A Wipro veteran of 18 years, in her last role, Suchira was the Country Head for the Greater China region, having integrated responsibility for Sales, Delivery and Operations for our business in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She has held various leadership roles within the organization in the areas of Sales, Strategic Alliances, Delivery, Quality, Operations, and Talent Acquisition.
