July 13, 2016 : Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships at Appirio selected in TechPoint's Tech 25 Class of 2016
Indianapolis, IN ? July 13, 2016? Appirio's Steve Pruden, Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships at Appirio, joins TechPoint's Tech 25 honorees for 2016. The Tech 25 recognizes individuals who are critical in growing the Indiana community's tech and tech-enabled companies.
"Indianapolis offers the perfect environment for tech companies to thrive," said Pruden. "From a growing talent pool to the presence of tech leaders such as Salesforce, we recognized the potential in Indy a few years ago. Our growth and investment in the city has been full speed ever since."
Steve Pruden led the site selection for the Indianapolis office, was instrumental in designating Indianapolis as a headquarters in 2015, and currently leads Indianapolis operations. He is also responsible for directing and navigating some of Appirio's most important and promising relationships, including partnerships with companies such as Apple and Amazon. He has partnered with Appirio's largest customers, including Facebook, NetApp, and Robert Half, to move millions of dollars in infrastructure and hundreds of thousands of users to the public cloud.
Since the founding of the Indianapolis office in 2012, Appirio's headcount in Indy has grown from just a handful of employees to more than 180. Future growth plans include the employment of up to 577 Hoosiers by 2020, with average salaries more than 75% higher than the state's average wage.
