(NYSE:WIT), a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company will host a day-long coding event - 'Code the Future' on Saturday, July 11, 2015 for digital programming aspirants to develop mobile and web-based applications. This coding event is open to members of the developer community, students of programming and experienced coders – all those who aspire to design technology. It aims to encourage developers to create innovative applications that can be integrated with digital solutions that are being currently used in industry sectors such as e-commerce, healthcare, transportation, logistics and others. The objective of the hackathon is to develop creative and innovative web and mobile applications that are futuristic and which will enhance or offer a superior customer or user experience.

The first three winning teams will be rewarded with exciting prizes that include tablets, mobile phones/ Kindles and quadcopters. Wipro Digital also plans to use the platform to spot talent and evaluate their potential and fitment for future hiring.

The last date for online registration for 'Code the Future' is July 9, 2015. Individual registrations are mandatory for the event. Teams of not more than four individuals can also participate but each member of the team needs to register individually.
