March 31, 2011 : Introduces New Collaborative Selling App, the First in a Series of CloudWorks-Powered Jive Apps
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – March 31, 2011 (Gartner Customer 360 Summit) – Appirio, a cloud solution provider, today announced a series of CloudWorks-powered Jive apps that will integrate critical business information from Salesforce CRM with the collaboration capabilities of Jive Social Business Software for collaborative sales and customer service. The first of these apps improves sales productivity by enabling collaborative selling, where sales teams can work together with employees from across the entire company to more easily close sales opportunities. Appirio's collaborative sales app is currently available to Jive 5 beta customers and will be available to the broader Jive community in the Jive Apps Market once Jive 5 is generally available."Jive 5 and the Jive Apps Market are designed to bring unprecedented innovation and value to the Social Business Software user through the introduction of consumer and business applications for the enterprise," said Chris Morace, SVP of business development at Jive Software. "Our customers want to use Jive to collaborate using information from all of their business applications. That is why we're excited that Appirio's series of Jive Apps will bring Salesforce and Jive's Social Business Software together for the first time."

Built on the Jive 5 Apps Framework and using the capabilities of both the Salesforce and Jive platforms, the collaborative sales app will deliver relevant CRM data directly inside a salesperson's Jive homepage. This offers sales teams an easy way to share details about opportunities they're pursuing with others in a company, such as engineers, project managers, marketing and operations. The collaborative selling app is the first in a series of CloudWorks-powered Jive Apps. As part of Appirio's partnership with Jive Software, additional applications that will be offered include apps for customer service, marketing, account management and partner management. Appirio will also provide consulting services to integrate Jive and Salesforce to meet enterprise customers' unique business requirements.
