Srikumar Rao is the Managing Partner and Global Head of Engineering at Wipro Limited, and a member of the Wipro Executive Leadership. In this role, he is responsible for defining the vision for Wipro’s Engineering services and executing an ambitious growth strategy that delivers AI-first products, solutions, and experiences to Wipro’s clients.
Prior to his current role, Srikumar was the Chief Operating Officer of Wipro Engineering and Global Practice Head of Embedded Systems.
Since joining Wipro nearly three decades ago, Srikumar has held various leadership roles. His work has spanned several markets, selling and delivering specialized engineering, research, and development services to clients in sectors ranging from software and internet services to semiconductor, automotive, manufacturing, and communications.
Srikumar holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the College of Engineering Pune and a postgraduate degree in Software Enterprise Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is based in Bengaluru, India.
