Nagendra Bandaru is CEO of Wipro’s AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit and a member of the Wipro Executive Leadership.
He leads growth through AI-powered platforms and builds AI-native businesses using an Invest–Build–Partner–Leverage model. The unit helps organizations pivot to AI-native operating models and accelerate value creation.
Nag has been with Wipro for 27 years and has held several global leadership roles, most recently as President, Technology Services (GBL). He has led multi-billion-dollar P&L operations across multiple industries and service lines, with a track record of building high-performing businesses and delivering transformative customer experiences. He was recognized as a 2024 Visionary Business Leader by CIO Magazine.
With 30+ years in the industry, he has led global teams and driven enterprise-grade, cloud-enabled, and industry-specific solutions. His experience spans cybersecurity and risk services; cloud and infrastructure services; data, analytics, and AI; enterprise applications; and digital experience.
Nag has played a pivotal role in several of Wipro’s major strategic initiatives and M&A transactions. He contributed to the acquisition of HealthPlan Services (HPS), a U.S.-based public-private healthcare exchange, and supported Aon Hewitt’s (now Alight Solutions) outsourcing of global operations to Wipro, including the establishment of Servaada, a life and pensions business in the UK.
Beyond Wipro, Nag supports STEM education and professional development, working with schools across Collin County, Texas. He also supports trusts and charitable organizations in the U.S. and the UK focused on student welfare, entrepreneurship, and education.
Nag holds an LL.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Amsterdam, an MBA from TAPMI, Manipal, and undergraduate degrees in Law and Physics.
He is based in Plano, Texas.
