Hari Shetty is Chief Strategist and Sales Excellence Officer at Wipro and is a member of Wipro’s Executive Committee.

In this role, Hari focuses on building Wipro’s forward-thinking strategy based on changing customer needs and based on economic, industry, and technology trends. He collaborates with our Strategic Market Units and Global Business Lines to develop consulting-led and AI-powered innovations that our customers see as valued differentiators for Wipro. Hari and his team are critical components to our long-term success and are charged with supporting the execution of key strategies, defining and overseeing critical initiatives, and originating deals by engaging with advisors and strategic partners. Hari’s strength lies in combining strategy with sales excellence, ensuring that our strategies are thoughtfully conceived and effectively implemented.

Hari has a proven track record as a thought leader, influencer, and advocate for change during his more than 31 years with Wipro. During that time, he succeeded in some of the company's most senior roles, including Senior Vice President, Change and Transform, in our Consumer Business Unit. He also served as Sector Head and Senior Vice President, Technology Platforms, Products, and Gaming.

Hari earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Law degree at Bangalore University. He went on to earn a Master of Technology degree in Operations Research and Information Management from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. He also earned designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance, from the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education in Hyderabad.

Hari regularly speaks at various forums on the challenges posed by technology disruptions and opportunities for businesses to create value for their customers. He has been rated among the world’s Top 25 Technology Consultants and Leaders of 2024.

He currently lives with his family in Minnesota.
