Amit Kumar is the Managing Partner and Global Head of Consulting at Wipro Limited and a member of the Wipro Executive Leadership.

In this role, Amit leads Wipro’s consulting-led growth agenda. He is responsible for accelerating Wipro’s market momentum, enhancing client value creation, and deepening strategic relationships within the C-suite. Amit advises clients on navigating technological disruption and unlocking long-term value through business transformation, leveraging Wipro’s end-to-end industry and functional capabilities across Technology, Business Process and Engineering services. 

With over 25 years of global consulting experience across North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Amit brings deep expertise across industries such as automotive, consumer goods, chemicals, energy, food & beverages, high-tech, and retail. His specialization spans business transformation, cost take-out, operational excellence, asset management, manufacturing operations and supply chain management. 

Prior to Wipro, Amit spent 17 years at Accenture, where he served as Managing Director and led the Americas Market and Industry X Consulting globally.  

Amit holds a bachelor's degree from St Stephen’s College, Delhi, and a master's in management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune India. He is based in New Jersey, USA.
