Wipro is a proud sponsor of Marcus Evan’s 10th Annual conference on Risk and Finance Data.  Learn about the importance of scaling up the principles of Basel Committee on Banking Supervision regulation number 239 (BCBS239) to facilitate regulatory and customer driven transformation.

Introduced to strengthen risk data aggregation capabilities and internal risk reporting practices, BCBS239 will enhance risk management and decision-making processes at banks.  As the amount of data that banks generate on a daily basis has increased, so has the amount of reporting they are required to do. Without a solution for managing this data, firms will have worse controls over their risk and finances and become saddled with uncompetitive costs. This event shows how banks can scale up their BCBS239 programs and embed superior data governance and architecture practice throughout their business.

Mark Connolley, Consulting Partner at Wipro will head up the following session:

November 22nd  12 noon GMT

BCBS239 Risk Exposure - A Data Centric View of Risk Management

  • Assessing data weakness that are imposing limitations on risk reporting efficacy are candidates to be addressed
  • Reasons for data integrity issues: The increasing incident of EUC’s within the decision making and reporting operating architecture
  • Addressing EUC limitations without stalling other reengineering efforts
  • Achieving quick and self-financing wins which align with governance to deliver a sustainable strategic operating model
