Awareness, and early detection of this deadly disease is crucial, now more than ever, even though advances in medical science today is making it more predictable, and curable.

In this panel, you will hear from a breast cancer survivor, a caregiver, and a renowned oncologist about the science behind cancer treatments, stories of courage and resilience from those battling this disease, as well as advice they would give to others in similar positions.

Dr. Anne Blaes, MD
Division Director, B.J. Kennedy Chair of Oncology, University of Minnesota

Dr. Anne Blaes is the Division Director, B.J. Kennedy Chair of Oncology, and Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Minnesota. She is an active medical oncologist with a special interest in the late effects of cancer therapy, particularly in the area of cardio-oncology.

Linda Peterson - Breast Cancer Survivor

Vice President, Optum Enterprise Issue Management and Accreditation | Optum Enterprise Customer Experience & Capabilities

Linda Peterson is a Vice President at Optum, a division of United Health Group (UHG). In 2019, she was diagnosed with Stage III Invasive Lobular Carcinoma at the age of 55. Following surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation in 2019, she continues to undergo long-term hormone therapy even today.

Priya Marsonia is a Vice President of Platforms & Software Products, in the Americas One Region at Wipro. In May, Priya's sister was flagged for breast cancer likelihood via mammogram. Since June, Priya has been helping with her care.
