Everest Group has compiled the results of its assessment performed on the parameters of market impact, and vision and capability for 28 RCM service providers in the 2021 report. Wipro has been categorized as a major contender among 17 providers on Services PEAK Matrix.

Strengths highlighted:

• Despite being a new entrant in the RCM services industry, Wipro has made substantial strides in revenue and FTE growth, and was able to triple the scale of its operations from 2019 to 2020.
• Wipro leverages its resources, deep penetration in the payer market, and partnerships with IPA/RPA firms to automate processes across the RCM value chain. It has partner-based solutions in claims remittance, payment posting, and billing, along with 2,000+ bots in the health ecosystem.
• As enterprises expect service providers to pivot towards outcome-/output-based agreements, Wipro is in an advantageous position as it offers a risk-sharing commercial model for end-to-end accountability with outcome-based commercials.
• Wipro is focusing on increasing and upskilling its coding and clinical talent. It is investing in expanding its ICD-10 CM and AM coding training academy, and is one of the few service providers that focuses more on inpatient coding, which is more complex than outpatient coding.
