Wipro positioned as a Leader in ISG Provider Lens Study for Digital Banking Services: UK Quadrants

This report analyzes Wipro across four different service categories: Core Modernization and Integration Services, Banking Governance, Risk and Compliance Services, Transformational and Digital Banking Services, Payment and Card Processing Services.

Key Strengths of Wipro, as stated by ISG:

Wipro has a platform-agnostic approach, which coupled with mass customization offerings and a broad portfolio is driving its growth in the U.K. market.

Broad service portfolio coupled with mission-critical accelerators driving growth: Wipro’s GTM strategy for the quadrant ranges from transform, to manage, to extend the core. This has helped the company to win several marquee clients in the U.K. and achieve a broad-based growth.

Wipro’s leadership position in the risk and compliance space is supported by the reorganization of its business to achieve broad-based growth and regional focus, a wide suite of services, and thought leadership.

Reorg for broad based growth and improve regional focus to gain market traction:   Wipro reorganised its org structure and built a new operating model for broad based growth. The new model will have four strategic market units (SMUs) and two global business lines (GBLs). The four SMUs are Americas 1, Americas 2, Europe, and Asia-Pacific Middle East Africa (APMEA). Americas 1 and Americas 2 will be organised into sectors, while Europe and APMEA will be organised into countries. The new operating model is intended to drive the non-U.S. markets. Europe includes both the U.K. and the Nordics.
