My one powerful quote:

“I’ve realized that sometimes the simplest thing we can do for someone is to let them be themselves and truly mean it.”

My journey/allyship:

My journey hasn’t been a straight line. There have been moments when embracing who I am felt freeing, and others when it felt heavy—when I started to question myself, wonder how I was being seen, and whether I truly belonged in certain spaces. There were times I caught myself holding back, trying to be something I’m not, and attempting to balance being authentic still wanting to feel accepted. And honestly, that can be exhausting.

Over time, I realized that constantly adjusting myself to meet others’ expectations was costing me my peace.

Learning to accept myself didn’t happen all at once. It was difficult—a long process of choosing, again and again, to believe that who I am is enough. Not something I need to explain, justify, or tone down.

What made a difference for me was being part of an environment where that journey felt supported. At Wipro, I’ve experienced moments, both big and small, where inclusion feels real. Whether through conversations, leadership messaging, or simply how people show up for each other, there’s a sense that you’re allowed to be yourself without constantly second-guessing it.

That matters more than we sometimes realize. And honestly, that’s also a big part of why I’ve stayed here for almost nine years. When you find a space where you can grow, be seen, and be accepted for who you are, it becomes more than just work. It becomes something you choose to be part of.

As a Training Group Leader and Trainer, I carry that with me every day. I know what it feels like to question your place in a room, so I do my best to create spaces where people don’t feel like they have to hide parts of themselves just to belong. In training sessions, team interactions, meetings, and even casual conversations, I try to make it clear that every voice is welcome and respected.

For me, allyship is not separate from who I am. It shows up in how I listen, how I support, and how I stand alongside others. It’s not always about big actions, but about being consistent in creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and valued.

That’s exactly why the theme “Be You. Belong Here.” resonated so strongly with me when I submitted it. It reflects what I’ve learned through my own journey—that belonging starts with being able to show up as your true self and grows when the people around you make that feel safe and real.

It’s not just something we say; it’s something we build every day through how we treat each other. I’ve come to believe that when you truly accept yourself, you naturally make it easier for others to do the same. You create a space where people feel that they belong.

My journey is still ongoing, but I carry it now with more clarity and confidence. And if there’s one thing I hold onto, it’s this: when we stop hiding who we are, we don’t just find our place; we help others find theirs too.

Happy to adjust or add more if needed. Thank you again for the opportunity to be part of this; it really means a lot.

What Pride and Belonging Mean to Me

"For me, Pride is about having the courage to be real; to not have to filter who you are. And belonging is what happens when the people around you make you feel like that’s okay… like you don’t have to explain yourself to be accepted. It’s a shared responsibility. And it starts with each of us."
