Jatin Dalal is President and Chief Financial Officer. As the CFO for Wipro, he is responsible for Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Business Planning, Treasury, Taxation, Secretarial, Controllership, Assurance and Procurement. Jatin is also on the investment committee of Wipro Ventures, Wipro’s $100 Mn strategic investment arm that focuses on investing in early to mid-stage startups.
Jatin joined Wipro in 2002 and over the years has worked in diverse roles in Finance. During 2002-04, he led the initiative of setting up of Wipro’s internal Shared Services division and functioned as its Finance Head. In 2005, he moved to Corporate Treasury with responsibilities for Investors Relations (IR) and economic research. During his tenure the IR team won the coveted Institutional Investor Award for Best IR function in India. In 2008, he moved to head Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for the IT Business. In 2009, Jatin relocated to UK as the Head of Finance for Europe region and the Global Finance Head for three Business Units (Energy & Utilities, Health Care and Manufacturing), responsible for the profitability and overall finance and commercial support for these units. Prior to his current role, Jatin served as CFO of Wipro’s Global IT Business from 2011 to 2015, based in Bangalore.
Before joining Wipro, Jatin was part of the prestigious Financial Management Program (FMP) of General Electric (GE) where he was a ‘Global Corporate Honors’ awardee.
Jatin is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), India, Cost and Management Account (CMA), India, Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), UK and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surat, India as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) with a specialization in Finance and International Business from NMIMS, Mumbai, India.
Jatin is on the NYSE Listed Company Advisory Board at New York Stock Exchange. He is also on various committees of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Jatin is a trustee for Wipro Foundation.
Jatin is married, has two children and is based in Bangalore. His interests are fitness and reading.
