The major challenges were curtailing network expenditure, making processes more productive and achieving inventory accuracy in the LatAm region.
Wipro re-engineered the company's processes and tools to optimize the planning, deployment, and operation of their transport networks and also improved the quality and efficiency (capacity utilization) of this network.
The TOP project had a huge impact on the network savings. The financial KPIs improved substantially with 15-25% capital expenditure reduction and 10-15% improvement in operational efficiency. There was also qualitative impact on MTTP with improved inventory availability and accuracy, & time to market.
The solution helped reduce the transport network's cost structure -opex and capex- and made it more flexible and scalable, revamped the time-to-market and enhanced customer experience.
