Vaidy Shankar is part of the Consumer Business Unit’s solution team at Wipro. He provides leadership and expertise in the development of Next Gen solutions/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Vaidy is responsible for accelerating digital transformation initiatives for Wipro’s Retail customers enabled by advanced analytics, engineering solutions and technologies involving IoT and AI/cognitive intelligence.
He has close to 20 years of experience in consulting often solving complex business problems, articulating value proposition and differentiation, building architectural solution roadmaps, and communicating business value to the clients right through the executive levels. He brings a strong cross industry knowledge with stints across multiple industry verticals - Retail, Consumer Goods, Logistics and Manufacturing.
A systems thinker with a strong process orientation, he believes in addressing the interplay of functions like supply chain, merchandising and instore operations to boost meaningful customer experiences.
