Enterprise customers are going through myriad issues to stay competitive in an uncertain business environment. The need of the hour for most of these enterprises is to build and operate a scalable, flexible, pay-as-you-go and end-to-end managed platform to host applications. Conscious of this need, the SAP application environment in most enterprises is going through a similar transition, and cloud migration of SAP workloads has become a top priority for most SAP customers.

This would have been an easier question to answer 5 years ago. This is because there was only one Public Cloud offering available for SAP application hosting. The market has evolved a lot since then and now there are several public cloud options available for SAP customers.
