Every business needs to think of how it engages with its customers, how it comes closer to them and how it partners them for success.
As technology leads the way into tomorrow's world, we have a duty to our customers to envision their future, prepare them for change and - in some instances - help them pioneer breakthrough innovation and business models.
We did it with our outsourcing practice, helping customers achieve operational excellence while they could focus on their business. Today, outsourcing is not just about lowered costs and great service…it is about creating business insight. The scope of outsourcing now encompasses Customer Management, an area of immense opportunity where the role of Analytics is vital. Social analytics is rapidly changing the way in which organizations monitor and leverage data. Twitter's acquisition of BackType, an analytics platform, highlights the growing scope. In this area, we can provide significant support to customers in terms of organizing, understanding and utilizing in-house data for trends and insights. We can also provide the all important link between industry trends and demands.
Cloud, mobility and analytics represent tantalizing possibilities. But they also bring disruptive change. The change offers tremendous opportunities for Business IT specialists like Wipro
Cloud has moved rapidly from single digit adoption to significant acceptance, especially with healthcare, higher education, SMBs, federal governments and state and local governments. A North Bridge study on the Future of Cloud done in 2011 found that 13% of the respondents expressed a high level of confidence in cloud; another 40% said they were experimenting and 26% were waiting for cloud to mature. The returns for those migrating to cloud will be highest just about now (while competition is still mulling the pros and cons). In addition, I believe that the ability of SaaS (email, CRM, analytics, chat, HR, SEM, etc) to achieve close alignment with business goals will become one of the bigger drivers of cloud adoption. Who doesn't want to reduce their on-premises software, hardware, administration and maintenance headaches?
Mobility, cloud and analytics are where enterprises should be focusing their efforts to build out the future. As a global technology specialist, we are sifting through the data generated by our services and telling our customers how exactly our solutions and insights can be tailored to improve their business processes. The focus is now on real- time Mobile analytics for specific industry requirements and functions. The importance of focused analytics directed at the particular context or location is the key to redefining the customers' existing business model and enhancing the scope of services offered by them.
Suddenly, this looks like a lot more than outsourcing - and it is. As providers we are uniquely positioned to provide insights and ideas that have a direct bearing on business strategy. In my mind, the equation is simple: Outsource + Cloud + Analytics + Mobility = A Game Changer.
