Abstract
The rapid adoption of IP networks for voice by enterprises has changed the enterprise networks landscape. Technologies such as VOIP and Web services are creating an environment where, information can be exchanged between the IT & the telecom worlds via programmatic means. IT applications shall now be able to view the capabilities of the telecom network just as yet another IT service, and telecom applications can build upon corporate data in a manner to add value to business processes.
