Abstract
With the development of technology it is increasingly possible to integrate wireless devices with in-vehicle high speed networks. Such applications can increase the level of communication between wired applications and wire-free applications.This white paper describes a Gateway solution to integrate wireless devices with in-vehicle high speed networks like Bluetooth enabled wireless devices and wired networks like IDB 1394. The Gateway acts as an interface for bidirectional communication between a Bluetooth device and the devices on a 1394 vehicle network. The Gateway would make all the devices on the 1394 network accessible by the wireless devices and also support streaming data applications.
