Abstract
Integrating WiproWebsecure with SAP can achieve twin goals - All the users of SAP get to use and benefit from the vast set of security features offered by WiproWebsecure and can still continue to use the robust services offered by SAP. By providing an external authentication support, SAP benefits from the immense capability of WiproWebsecure which can provide valuable security for external and internal SAP transactions. This enables SAP customers to open their systems to the outside world by securely conducting B2B transactions with partners. WiproWebsecure enables single sign-on and secure remote access to the SAP systems. Benefits include eliminating expensive dial-up costs by allowing remote access to the systems and by reducing password management costs. This white paper describes the WiproWebsecure security solutions for SAP. It gives an outline of mySAP.com’s Internet solution architecture, the SAP R/3 system architecture and discusses the various security solutions that WiproWebsecure can provide to different SAP system configurations.
