WiproWebsecure™ authentication component addresses the basic issue of authenticating a user to an application system, through varied authentication mechanisms such userId / password, IP/automatic authentication, hardware tokens (RSA SecurID), smart card, certificates, biometric etc. It uses a JAAS based framework where any third party or proprietary authentication scheme can be easily developed and integrated into this component. It also exposes Java API’s and web services interface for easy integration within applications. The various features of the Authentication solution are:
