IEEE 802.11 a/b/g Multimode MAC

Wipro’s Wireless LAN MAC core is designed to support the data rate requirement of IEEE 802.11a/b/g PHY and supports both station as well as access point. Along with Wipro’s IEEE 802.11a/b/g Baseband core, and partners’ radio and data converter cores, it provides a complete solution for wireless LAN devices.

Compliant with IEEE 802.11 Multimode MAC specifications.
Optimum hardware-software partitioning for reduced gate count as well as lower MIPS requirements.
Supports upcoming standards for Security (IEEE 802.11i), QoS (IEEE 802.11e), IAPP (IEEE 802.11f) and IEEE 802.11h)
Synthesizable Verilog code for hardware components and C source code for MAC firmware
Uses ARM’s AHB interface for Embedded processor
Configurable host interface (CardBus/MiniPCI/PCI)
