The solution demonstrates reusable toolkits and processes that Wipro provides for rapidly developing embedded netconf agent for NEs. The solution can be easily integrated in to customer’s NEs, providing cost and time savings.

Wipro provides XML Proxy gateway which has southbound interfaces as SNMP, CLI, TLI and CMIP to communicate with the devices. This can be used to upgrade legacy EMS/NMS systems to the uniform northbound XML interface.

Scalability
This product provide basic framework with netconf protocol operations as a separate entity. Only the device specific APIs will change for any new device needs to be supported. This requires minimal effort for adding new device support or new feature support for a given device.

Platform Independence
Product is developed in such a way that all the device dependent code is separated from the device independent code. This reduces the porting effort for the product from one platform to another.
