Set and AV/C sub-units to control devices over
the 1394 bus are used in consumer and professional
AV equipment. The Serial Bus Protocol-2 (SBP-2)
has well defined and comprehensive APIs that enable
easy targeting to consumer device designs and
applications. IP Over 1394 stack can be easily
integrated with any TCP/IP for a networking environment.
5C-DTCP Content Protection Software protects digital
AV content. With the advent of Digital TVs (DTVs),
5C-DTCP will be used widely to protect digital
