Wipro’s IEEE 1394 hardware IPs have been licensed to many customers over the last eight years and there are numerous products in the market today that carry Wipro’s IP. One of the first 1394b implementations in the world was done with Wipro's IP.

Over the years our IPs have been licensed to players in the Consumer Electronics, PC, PC peripherals, Automotive and 1394 chip markets. Our IP has been integrated into products that include DVD players, DVD recorders, camcorders, gaming platforms, printers, OHCI cards and Digital Television (DTV) chips.

Wipro’s IEEE 1394a hardware IPs include IEEE 1394a Link Layer Controller Core, IEEE 1394a Physical Layer (Digital) Core, IEEE 1394a Link Layer Controller with DMA and AHB interface, IEEE 1394a OHCI with PCI interface and 1394a Audio Video Link with 5C-DTCP content protection .

Wipro’s IEEE 1394b hardware IPs include IEEE 1394ab Link Layer Controller Core, IEEE 1394b Link Layer Controller Core and IEEE 1394b Physical Layer (Digital) Core.

Wipro also provides a 1394 System Level Test bench that allows for easy verification to ensure compliance with the latest specifications.
