"PrintDocWision" are
monolithic printer drivers from Wipro Technologies.
PrintDocWision is an alternative solution to the
high cost and royalty based printer driver frame
works. Wipro Technologies has the IP over these
drivers and these drivers are licensed as source
code.
Drivers are designed for Microsoft Windows target
platforms and emit PCL-XL, PCL-5c, PCL-5e streams
depending on the driver. Currently Windows XP,
Windows 2000, Windows NT4.0, Windows ME, Windows
98 are supported as target platforms. Wipro Technologies
also undertakes the customization of these drivers
for any printer specific features. These customizations
are billed on the Wipro's service prices and are
owned by clients.
