Global Command Center
The Global Command Center (GCC) is the world’s first ISO 20000 certified remote management facility; it was set up in 2002 to provide remote management services to manage customers’ IT infrastructure. The GCC has a distributed delivery model with a presence in California (USA), London (UK), Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad (India). The GCC provides standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and customer-specific SLAs using a combination of onsite and offshore resources to provide 24x7 services based on best-of-breed tools and adherence to the ITIL process for service delivery.

Key Features and Benefits of the GCC


The service delivery framework can support multiple monitoring tools simultaneously by integrating with all popular Network and System Management (NSM) tools. This protects the existing investments of customers, yet availing all the benefits of the GCC.
 

Routine system administration tasks are automated using scripts that run on multiple platforms. A virtual console is provided to the level-one system administrators, allowing them to execute day to day tasks without the need to know OS commands.
 

System Administrators are not provided administrator passwords. Instead, they are given one time access to the 'sick' device. By virtue of this, we completely avoid anyone inadvertently or maliciously touching 'healthy' devices.
 

This is the holy grail of enterprise management. The GCC is able to report which businesses/geographies are impacted because of an infrastructure problem.
