Wipro recommended using the web to process customer's access to technical data, estimation and formulation of the solution. The Wipro team designed a set of problem-solving tools involving complex mathematical models. They are known as "Technical Wizards".

A technical wizard is an interactive technical support tool that takes inputs from the customer who logs in, computes the complex data and generates the desired solution for him. Technical wizards do the back-end calculation to ensure that the results of configuration of chemicals are accurate. The entire process takes place online at real-time speed.

As web based technical wizards are largely self-service technical tools, the technical people / scientists now concentrate on innovative work. They are free from the otherwise mundane activity of calculating and providing technical information that is now automated through the Wipro designed technical wizards.

Wipro has designed and developed the wizards with adherence to global standards for future multi lingual support. By using standard and reusable templates, the development time per wizard has been reduced from 4 months to 1-½ months.
