Our client is the leading supplier of statistical, actuarial, and underwriting information for and about the Property/Casualty Insurance Industry. It provides advisory services to more than 1,500 participating insurers and their agents.

Our client's objective is to support underwriting individuals (Auto Insurance underwriters and Property Insurance Underwriters from Insurance and their agents) to access multiple information through a single order and delivery mechanism for underwriting individual, property and automobile risks and locations. These services are termed as "Underwriting Decision Services". To achieve the above objective, it required seamless integration across multiple applications.

The end customer (Underwriters from Insurance Companies and their agents) who seeks to order the above products will enter requests through a web interface. The customer request will be passed on to the external systems such as Trans Union, Insurance Information Exchange and ACXIOM for Undisclosed driver information for processing the request. To achieve the required integration, SeeBeyond e*Gate Integration suite has been selected. e*gate will transfer customer request to the external systems and the external system's response back to the customer's web interface.

Wipro spearheaded this solution that involved Requirement Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing and Administration. Our client would have a "Real Time" seamless integration to provide the underwriters an easy, quick and accurate method to underwrite auto and property risks.
