Our client is the world's leading provider of digital imaging products and technology for home and office. Its supply chain management supports the procurement of InkJet and LaserJet along with inventory shipment, delivery and availability to customers worldwide.

The client wanted to upgrade and customize the newly acquired informatica analytical applications product to its unique business requirements. The project required working with multiple users at locations spread across the globe, understanding their diversified requirements, complete knowledge acquisition of the applications and then implementing the customized solutions for the business requirements. The complete project was to be executed under extremely tight delivery deadlines.

Wipro in the first stage of execution focused primarily on customization, support and maintenance of the existing MRP II application. After successful completion of the first stage, we then led the initiative to transition all enterprise functions to Oracle applications, while implementing middleware for messaging and data transfer.

Through its wide gamut of process and technology expertise, Wipro offered the client a single point window for its upgradation and customization requirements. Wipro also provided maintenance and support of the system to the client Wipro executed. The fast track implementation of the solution within the tight proposed deadline offered immense cost advantage and lower time to market of products to the client.
