The key challenges of the project were to:

	Securely Reach out to UK’s Independent Financial Advisors through the web world
	Secure framework that allows the Client’s partners (IFAs) and customers (stakeholders) to access enterprise applications
	Implementation of a secure framework for single sign on for extranet users and B2B users through the web interface
	Integration with OSIS Certificates and Critical Path Directory server
	Lack of support for integrating the security product with new web applications

Wipro identified the pain points and gaps in the existing security implementation at the customer and actuated with a ‘Proof of Concept’ to showcase the integration features of the WiproWebsecure™ product. After a successful POC, Wipro was given the responsibility to cater to the entire application security requirements of the customer.

To begin with, Wipro provided application security consulting and recommended an overall application security framework to the customer. The WiproWebsecure™ team did an end-to-end enterprise security audit and captured all the security vulnerabilities in the web applications, operating systems, web servers, firewall and network deployments. This was followed by ‘Enterprise Access Control Modeling’ for a comprehensive singular access control policy for all applications in the enterprise with a final implementation and customization of the

WiproWebsecure™ product to meet the security needs/pains of the customer.
