A Large group in the business of manufacturing and sale of hermitic compressors for air conditioners, with a tie-up with leading US Company.
 
The Challenge

The main challenge was to develop a comprehensive solution for the payroll and employee self service requirements of their growing workforce. They wanted to increase productivity and move towards a paper-less office using self-service applications.

 
The Solution

Wipro's solution included providing rich functionality for Payroll, Online Appraisals, Training Enrolment, Recruitment, Personal profile management, Salary information display, Leave Management and Travel Requisition. The system also interfaces with existing time and attendance system and integrates with BAAN ERP backend and would also leverage the existing third-party payroll package.
